Term 2 2010
Multi-age and Preschoolers 2 new programs starting for Alexandra in term 2 2010!
Preschoolers will enjoy playing games and meeting new friends as we venture into SPACE! We will discover planets, zoom in a rocket, fly through the stars and dance on the moon! The class is for children aged 3-5 years and when they are comfortable to do so, you can drop them off and come back for the last 5 minutes where we tell you what we have done and you can join in some of the activities we did during the class.
Each class we will sing, dance and play a variety of percussion instruments. The reason why we use different ways to explore and feel the music is to allow chidlren time to work out what they like, what they are comfortable doing and also to have a go at something new. It's a great social time and along the way we build on their confidence, thier fine motor skills and their language and listening skills.
Multi-age group-8months to 5 years, is specifically for families with more than one child out of school, but as time has gone on, the class has also become a great time for little babies to socialise and meet other babies and also learn from the older children around them! This term we will be heading off to the ZOO, to meet lots of different animals from Lions, to Fish! Each class we will sing, dance and play a variety of percussion instruments. Babies will start playing shakers to the beat and demonstrate with thier bounces up and down how they feel about the music! Toddlers roar loudly when we meet Leo the Lion, and Preschoolers will ask plenty of questions about the different animals in the zoo!
Class for term 2 will run for 9 weeks, but you only play for 8!! This is to allow for a make-up class end of term as children may be sick or away for a week.
Preschoolers class runs from 10:15-11:00 and the cost is $96 for one child or $$156 for two. Multi-age is 9:15-10:00 and the cost is $96 for one child and $156 for two. Cost includes 9 classes and an instrument. First class is Wednesday 21st of April and full or half payment is to made on the first day.Places are limited and bookings are essential, so contact Simone and come and fun with your child on a Wednesday morning!
