Music therapy is a research-based allied health practice and profession in which music is used to actively support people as they strive to improve their health, functioning and well being.
Music therapy is about exploring different aspects of yourself through music and developing tools to take with you. You don't need to have any prior musical skills as this is a space to create and find connection.
Music Garden is an inclusive and neuro-affirming community, ready to support you on your journey to discovering how creative and amazing, you really are.
Simone, Jessica and Esther, are the Registered Music Therapists. We use a variety of approaches to help you reach your NDIS and personal goals. Some examples are songwriting, improvisation, familiar song singing, movement, drumming, instrumental exploration and for the younger participants, play based activities to encourage them to communicate, express and create.
We offer individual and small group sessions at the Wodonga studio for all ages during the week. We also travel to age care facilities, preschools, primary schools and homes in Wodonga, Albury, Corowa and Rutherglen.
